Pasture Raised,
Pasture Finished

From Our Farm to Your Table

What does "Pasture Finished" mean?

Upon inspection at the refrigerated meat section of the grocery store, the label "Pasture Raised" is a common appearance. That means that the cattle or poultry - or any livestock - has spent a fraction of its life outside, but still primarily lives in stockyards with the diet mainly consisting of grains and corn. "Pasture Finished" is not only the most humanitarian option for the Grass-Based industry, but also ensures the highest quality of meats and nutritional value to consumers and the animals alike. Culpepper cattle and poultry are born and raised on unfertilized grassy fields, filled with natural flora and insects and are always enjoying a fresh "salad bar" of vegetation, providing landscape healing and the animals' unique integrity

The Folks at Culpepper

Culpepper Farm was founded in 1817 and was the birthplace of Culpepper, Tennessee, now wiped off the map due to a devastating tornado. In 2013, the Floyd family purchased the property and restored the original farmhouse to its rustic charm, and began the adventure of farming. With rich Tennessee history, the farm as a whole was rejuvenated to become a hobby farm. But as the years progressed, Culpepper has blossomed into a primary resource for health and wellness-minded neighbors and friends providing quality livestock goods.

It's amazing how fresh the chicken really tastes. I'll never go back to store-bought chicken now if I can help it. Now I know exactly what is in my food and what my family eats.

I've had health issues since 2018 - COVID made it worse - so I've had to completely change my diet and have been afraid of having a reaction to food. But this is the first time where I physically feel better after eating such fresh chicken.
